The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® set up the Mississippi REALTOR® Hurricane Relief Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, in response to the unprecedented devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The fund assisted more than 3,000 families who sustained damage to their primary residences immediately after the storm with more than $3.5 million in donations from REALTORS® across the country.
